Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash Day 7
Can't believe it's day 7 already! Just a reminder that Contest 2 ends in about 10 hours so hurry up and do your entries! Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash Day 6
Just a reminder that it's day 6 of the Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash! I still haven't picked out and outfit, but when I do I promise I'll post screenshots. Thinking of just going to the RB&BB with my Ninja Pig outfit though. :P
Remember that the RB&BB will take place on Saturday - August 11th, 2012 from 4:00PM Central to 6:00PM Central. And that's just the main event! After the main event is over the mini parties will start and that's when the real fun takes place. :P

Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash Day 5
It's official! It's Day 5 of the RB&BB! I don't really have a lot of time to write a post today since I have to go help my dad with setting up the pool for my brother's pool party. Anyways, I just think I'll post a reminder for today's blog post.

Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash Day 4
So it's finally day 4 of the RB&BB! In my last couple of posts I went over the basics (like when it's going to be taking place) and then I went over the contest details (like what to do and what do you win). I'm still on the hunt for the prefect outfit and once I find it I will definitely post some screenshots! If I can't find anything I like then I'll be going to the RB&BB with my Ninja Pig costume! It's not formal, at all, but it's my favorite outfit in the entire world! I even wish KI would sell a Ninja Pig Halloween costume IRL!
I've also been working on my poster for the design-a-poster contest. It's not coming out as great as I'd like it to, but I am working on it. Boy, have I learned a lot of stuff about GIMP during the past couple of days!!! I'm having a little trouble doing font effects, but I did learn how to upload my own fonts to GIMP. If you're looking for a Wizard101 style font the closest one (and it's VERY close) to it is the Shermlock font. Just google it OR you can go to dafont.com and type Shermlock in their search bar then click download. Hope this helps you out!

Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash Day 3
Well, it's officially Day 3 of the Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash! I think I'm going to start calling it the RB&BB because typing the whole name is starting to become tedious. ;) As I mentioned in the blog post before my last blog post (:P), I am going to be talking about Contest 2 for Week 1 of the RB&BB!
Contest 2 (at least for me) is MUCH MUCH easier than Contest 1 which I am very grateful for! For Contest 2 all you have to do is use your social media ninja skills to win some cool loot! It's going to be a Rafflecopter giveaway which means it's going to be well...like a raffle! It's random, BUT the more entries you have the more likely you'll win!
The Rafflecopter giveaway is going to be for FIVE (you read right!) Double-Wide Majestic Bundle cards and FIVE (you read right, again!) Pagoda Gauntlet Bundle cards!!! Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash Day 2
Here at The Courageous Sorcerer I will be (TRYING) to post everyday about the Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash! I haven't logged in game yet to pick out my outfit, but I can promise you that it's going to be awesome. ;) If you don't already know, the Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash is going to be taking place on August 11th, 2012 in Ravenwood School of Magical Arts in Vampire realm, Area 1. Area 1 will be full even before the Ball & Bash starts so you'd better come an hour or two early just to make sure you'll be in that coveted Area 1. :P
Today and tomorrow I will be going over the Week 1 contests available at Fallon Shadowblade's website which you can find here. (Just click "here" and it'll take you. It'll open a new window so you don't lose your spot reading this post)
For today, I will be talking about the "design-a-poster" contest. In this specific contest you are required to make a poster for the 3rd Annual Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash. If you have no idea on how to use graphics programs just go to Youtube and search for some tutorials that match the graphics program you want to use. Remember to try your best and don't get discouraged (even if you're new to graphics, like I am)! If you don't even have a graphics program downloaded you can always try out a few. I would suggest GIMP which is COMPLETELY FREE if you're on a spending budget. You can find the GIMP website and download the latest version here. If you want to get all professional and you don't mind paying some cash you can also use Photoshop. I think they offer a free trial with a couple of limits. You can find the official Photoshop website right here.
What are the prizes, you're asking? The 1st place winner will take home a bundle of their choice (either a Majestic Bundle or a Pagoda Gauntlet Giftcard). 2nd place winner will take home either a Majestic Bundle or Pagoda Gauntlet Giftcard. I'm guessing the 1st place winner will choose one and whichever is left the 2nd place winner gets that one? Remember, I'm just GUESSING so don't hold me accountable if what I said was wrong. :P And last, but certainly not least, the 3rd place winner will be receiving 1 Snowy Cat Pet.
You have to submit your poster in one of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, or .png, After you've taken care of that you will have to email your entry to ravenwoodball(at)diaryofawizard.com Please include your wizard name in the email. You must send in your entry no later than 11:59 PM CST (Central Standard Time) on Saturday July 21st, 2012. The winner will be chosen by Fallon's family and will be announced on Wednesday - July 25th, 2012. (It says 2011 on her website, but I'm guessing it's a typo)

Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash 2012
As the title suggests, this post is going to be about the Ravenwood Ball & Birthday Bash 2012 event! This event is hosted by Fallon Shadowblade from diaryofawizard(dot)com and there are tons and tons of prizes in the loot bag this year! Every week Fallon will be updating the post with more and more contests so keep on checking back for contests you can do to win some free loot. ;)
The main event will be on August 11th, 2012 at 4PM Central Standard Time (CST) at Ravenwood School of Magical Arts (Ravenwood) in Vampire Realm, Area 1. Please remember that there will be a lot of people so don't get frustrated if the game won't let you in Area 1. It just means that that specific area is full. ;)
I HOPE I'll be able to attend, but I'm not sure because I'll be in Florida around that time. I'm thinking about taking my laptop with me and using the hotel's wifi internet service, but I wonder if I'll be in the hotel by the time the event starts? Who knows, the trip to Florida might get cancelled. (shrug)

BLAH BLAH BLAH
So I know that I've been gone for a VERY VERY VERY long time and I won't promise that I will be staying, but I hope you enjoy my presence for as long as it lasts. :P This blog has been closed and re-opened many times and NOW is one of those times where I will re-open it again.
